For the love of travel and design, two sisters (that's us) started designing and manufacturing innovative quality travel accessories and called our brand MENDA after our very first product, our little pocket repair kit, (Menda as in mending, get it?) After many editorials in magazines and newspapers, we received loads of calls from people in areas without access to our brand. So we rolled up our sleeves and learnt how to design ecommerce websites (no easy feat back then!)... and we launched our very first in 1997, including other brands that would complement our own.

Since then, our range of goods online has grown extensively. If there are any products that you think we should be stocking, we would love to hear from you... or if you have any other feedback, we'd love to hear that too. As two Italian born Australian girls, with a love of beautiful things and university degrees in design (Sandra Interior Architecture, Elisa Industrial Design), and with the experience of growing up on our beautiful Aussie beaches, three brothers, and a love of the outdoors, we understand there is a massive crossover of types of travel and travellers.

To us, a pair of high end designer shoes packed next to a state-of-the-art lightweight tent, is perfectly normal. As is packing a super lightweight mattress, along with your laptop, for a side trek on your time off while on your business trip. Which is why we stock the range that we do. We have combined the most suited items for light travel/ camping under one roof. So instead of making time consuming trips to a luggage shop and then a camping shop followed by pharmacy/department store etc you can do it under one roof... um should we say website! We work really hard to provide the best range at the best prices we can with fluff-free service.
